Alfred Denny Building : ウィキペディア英語版 | Alfred Denny Building
The Alfred Denny Building is a 7-storey red brick building in Sheffield, England named after the first Professor of Zoology at the department. It is a part of the University of Sheffield, linked to Firth Court (named after Mark Firth) via the Addison Building, the original site of the Firth College, one of the forerunners of the university, and still its current administrative headquarters, housing the Vice-Chancellor's office. The building itself houses the University's Departments of Biomedical Science and Animal & Plant Science including its associated museum. It also houses the Perak Laboratories, used by students reading degrees from Medicine to Bioengineering, a large and well furnished computer centre, several lecture theatres and the Hillsborough Centre, for disabled and dyslexic students. Axordia, a University spinout company dealing with human embryonic stem cells (hESC) also works out of the building although their offices are in the Sheffield Bioincubator.〔(Axordia )〕 ==References==
